Luke's day out

Ah yes, it looks like Luke talked Grandma into what he loves best...eating treats and playing on the computer! Man, when I heard all that Grandma let him eat, I was glad she was the one putting him to bed! That monstrous cookie is apparently from some secret recipe that a friend of my mom's made up...they were so good!! One day, I will be talented enough to make up recipes on my own and then laugh at people when they ask for the recipe, telling them it's top secret, and I could tell them, but then I'd have to kill them. :)

Luke's new favorite website, Lego.com. I catch him all the time playing this when he's not supposed to. I'm still a little scared about letting him play on the Internet, especially when it's not PBSkids.org.

What are grandmas for if they aren't for spoiling their grandkids? I might have created a problem though when a couple of weeks ago Luke announced he's supposed to have 2 desserts, not just one. Whoops! I wonder where he got that idea????!!! By the way, Luke didn't end up eating that cookie. Grandma

Grandmas! Honestly! What do they think-they can just spoil these kids rotten so that the kids love them way better than their own parents and then as soon as the results of that spoilage start to show (i.e.-the bad behavior, the whining, etc.), they pass them right back? Oh. Yeah. That's exactly what they think. My kids require about 2 weeks of detox before I can get them back to not expecting and demanding... oh, like, 2 treats after dinner, for example. :)

there are actually a lot of good, safe, educational websites for kids to play on...I know some friends of mine LOVE starfall.com, and playhousedisney.com...just ask around...I'm sure you'll find more....
