I'm a little slow in getting my results up from the half marathon last week...it has been a super crazy week! I was in charge of three parties in two days! Anyway, here's the website if you want to fact-check me:
But here's the quick rundown:
13.1 miles, 1 hr. 48 min. 56 sec., 8 min 18 sec. avg. per mile, 45th place overall, 20th woman, 7th in my age group of 20-29.
I was really happy with the results, I did way better than I thought I was capable of!! I felt good the whole time too, except for a really steep hill the last mile (brutal!), and about mile 11, I just really wanted to be done! I kept telling myself, I don't think I want to do this again. I think maybe I'll do a 10K next, and just train hard to run like 7 1/2 minute miles (yeah, in my dreams!)...but 6 miles sounds so much nicer than 13! Anyway, it took a few days before I could walk like a normal person again, but I'm all back to normal!

Wow, good for you! You are my role model...I hope that someday I can be excited about running marathons like you are. You go girl!
What an amazing race you ran! That's impressive! I imagine a 10K will seem quite short compared to the half marathon. Hope this week is easier than last - organizing three parties in two days sounds intense! Take care. Love, Ellen
